About Our Story

Welcome to Our Story. This section of the Tall Grass Prairie Bread Company website offers a gathering of some of the outstanding articles, publications, radio clips, and video in which Tall Grass is either mentioned or featured.

We have chosen to begin this section with a script by the late, great story teller Stuart McLean, that originally aired on his radio program, The Vinyl Cafe, June 10, 2006. With delightful detail and affection, he presents the birth of our bakery.

The items on this section appear in a somewhat chronological fashion, but certainly it is not complete. We will continue to add to it, and ask you, the visitors to this page, to bring your favourite Tall Grass stories to our attention as well.
